community.network.ce_snmp_target_host module – Manages SNMP target host configuration on HUAWEI CloudEngine switches.

This module is part of the community.network collection (version 4.0.1).

You might already have this collection installed if you are using the ansible package. It is not included in ansible-core. To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list.

To install it, use: ansible-galaxy collection install community.network.

To use it in a playbook, specify: community.network.ce_snmp_target_host.

Synopsis

  • Manages SNMP target host configurations on HUAWEI CloudEngine switches.

Udp port used by SNMP agent to connect the Network management.

host_name

Unique name to identify target host entry.

interface_name

Name of the interface to send the trap message.

is_public_net

To enable or disable Public Net-manager for target Host.

To configure notify type as trap or inform.

recv_port

string

UDP Port number used by network management to receive alarm messages.

Security level indicating whether to use authentication and encryption.

Note

  • This module requires the netconf system service be enabled on the remote device being managed.

  • Recommended connection is netconf.

  • This module also works with local connections for legacy playbooks.
