fortios_firewall_shaper_traffic_shaper – Configure shared traffic shaper in Fortinet’s FortiOS and FortiGate

New in version 2.8.

Synopsis

  • This module is able to configure a FortiGate or FortiOS by allowing the user to configure firewall_shaper feature and traffic_shaper category. Examples includes all options and need to be adjusted to datasources before usage. Tested with FOS v6.0.2

Requirements

The below requirements are needed on the host that executes this module.

  • fortiosapi>=0.9.8

Upper bandwidth limit enforced by this shaper (0 - 16776000). 0 means no limit. Units depend on the bandwidth-unit setting.

Enable/disable applying a separate shaper for each policy. For example, if enabled the guaranteed bandwidth is applied separately for each policy.

Higher priority traffic is more likely to be forwarded without delays and without compromising the guaranteed bandwidth.
