amazon.aws.aws_s3 – manage objects in S3.
Note
This plugin is part of the amazon.aws collection (version 1.5.1).
You might already have this collection installed if you are using the ansible
package.
It is not included in ansible-core
.
To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list
.
To install it, use: ansible-galaxy collection install amazon.aws
.
To use it in a playbook, specify: amazon.aws.aws_s3
.

Synopsis
This module allows the user to manage S3 buckets and the objects within them. Includes support for creating and deleting both objects and buckets, retrieving objects as files or strings and generating download links. This module has a dependency on boto3 and botocore.

Use a botocore.endpoint logger to parse the unique (rather than total) “resource:action” API calls made during a task, outputing the set to the resource_actions key in the task results. Use the aws_resource_action callback to output to total list made during a playbook. The ANSIBLE_DEBUG_BOTOCORE_LOGS environment variable may also be used. Choices:
