kaytus.ksmanage.edit_pdisk module – Set physical disk

Note

This module is part of the kaytus.ksmanage collection (version 2.0.0).

You might already have this collection installed if you are using the ansible package. It is not included in ansible-core. To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list.

To install it, use: ansible-galaxy collection install kaytus.ksmanage. You need further requirements to be able to use this module, see Requirements for details.

To use it in a playbook, specify: kaytus.ksmanage.edit_pdisk.

Synopsis

  • Set physical disk on kaytus Server.

Requirements

The below requirements are needed on the host that executes this module.

  • Python 3.7+

  • inManage

Parameters

action

string

Action while set physical drive hotspare.

Required when option=HS.

Only the M5 model supports this parameter.

Choices:

  • "remove"

  • "global"

  • "dedicate"

ctrl_id

integer

Raid controller ID.

device_id

integer

Physical drive id.

duration

integer

Duration range is 1-255, physical drive under PMC raid controller.

Required when option=LOC.

Only the M6 model supports this parameter.

encl

string

IsEnclAffinity while set physical drive hotspare.

Required when option=HS and action=dedicate.

Only the M5 model supports this parameter.

Choices:

  • "yes"

  • "no"

host

string

Specifies the DNS host name or address for connecting to the remote device over the specified transport. The value of host is used as the destination address for the transport.

logical_drivers

list / elements=integer

Logical Drivers while set physical drive hotspare, input multiple Logical Drivers index like 0, 1, 2…..

Required when option=HS and action=dedicate.

Only the M5 model supports this parameter.

option

string

Set operation options for a physical disk.

UG is Unconfigured Good, UB is Unconfigured Bad.

OFF is offline, FAIL is Failed, RBD is Rebuild.

ON is Online, JB is JBOD, ES is Drive Erase stop.

EM is Drive Erase Simple, EN is Drive Erase Normal.

ET is Drive Erase Through, LOC is Locate, STL is Stop Locate.

HS is Hot spare.

Only the M5 model supports HS Settings.

Choices:

password

string

Specifies the password to use to authenticate the connection to the remote device. If the value is not specified in the task, the value of environment variable ANSIBLE_NET_PASSWORD will be used instead.

provider

dictionary

A dict object containing connection details.

host

string

Specifies the DNS host name or address for connecting to the remote device over the specified transport. The value of host is used as the destination address for the transport.

password

string

Specifies the password to use to authenticate the connection to the remote device. If the value is not specified in the task, the value of environment variable ANSIBLE_NET_PASSWORD will be used instead.

username

string

Configures the username to use to authenticate the connection to the remote device. If the value is not specified in the task, the value of environment variable ANSIBLE_NET_USERNAME will be used instead.

revertible

string

IsRevertible while set physical drive hotspare.

Required when option=HS and action=dedicate.

Only the M5 model supports this parameter.

Choices:

  • "yes"

  • "no"

username

string

Configures the username to use to authenticate the connection to the remote device. If the value is not specified in the task, the value of environment variable ANSIBLE_NET_USERNAME will be used instead.
