chocolatey.chocolatey.win_chocolatey_feature module – Manages Chocolatey features

This module is part of the chocolatey.chocolatey collection (version 1.5.3).

You might already have this collection installed if you are using the ansible package. It is not included in ansible-core. To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list.

To install it, use: ansible-galaxy collection install chocolatey.chocolatey.

To use it in a playbook, specify: chocolatey.chocolatey.win_chocolatey_feature.

Synopsis

  • Used to enable or disable features in Chocolatey.

Parameters

Parameter

name

string / required

The name of the feature to manage.

Run choco.exe feature list to get a list of features that can be managed.

For a list of options see Chocolatey feature docs

state

string

When disabled then the feature will be disabled.

When enabled then the feature will be enabled.

Choices:

  • "disabled"

  • "enabled" ← (default)
