Note
This inventory plugin is part of the kubernetes.core collection (version 5.0.0).
You might already have this collection installed if you are using the ansible
package.
It is not included in ansible-core
.
To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list
.
To install it, use: ansible-galaxy collection install kubernetes.core
.
You need further requirements to be able to use this inventory plugin,
see Requirements for details.
To use it in a playbook, specify: kubernetes.core.k8s
.

As discussed in https://github.com/ansible-collections/kubernetes.core/issues/31, we decided to remove the k8s inventory plugin in release 6.0.0.

Synopsis
Fetch containers and services for one or more clusters.
Groups by cluster name, namespace, namespace_services, namespace_pods, and labels.
Uses the kubectl connection plugin to access the Kubernetes cluster.
Uses k8s.(yml|yaml) YAML configuration file to set parameter values.
Requirements
The below requirements are needed on the local controller node that executes this inventory.
