community.windows.win_firewall – Enable or disable the Windows Firewall

This plugin is part of the community.windows collection (version 1.6.0).

To install it use: ansible-galaxy collection install community.windows.

To use it in a playbook, specify: community.windows.win_firewall.

Synopsis

  • Enable or Disable Windows Firewall profiles.

Requirements

The below requirements are needed on the host that executes this module.

  • This module requires Windows Management Framework 5 or later.

Parameters

Specify one or more profiles to change.

  • disabled
  • enabled
Set state of firewall for given profile.
