fortinet.fortios.fortios_switch_controller_nac_settings – Configure integrated NAC settings for FortiSwitch in Fortinet’s FortiOS and FortiGate.

This plugin is part of the fortinet.fortios collection (version 2.1.2).

To install it use: ansible-galaxy collection install fortinet.fortios.

To use it in a playbook, specify: fortinet.fortios.fortios_switch_controller_nac_settings.

Synopsis

  • This module is able to configure a FortiGate or FortiOS (FOS) device by allowing the user to set and modify switch_controller feature and nac_settings category. Examples include all parameters and values need to be adjusted to datasources before usage. Tested with FOS v6.0.0

The below requirements are needed on the host that executes this module.

Enable/disable bouncing (administratively bring the link down, up) of a switch port when NAC mode is configured on the port. Helps to re-initiate the DHCP process for a device.
inactive_timer
integer
Time interval(minutes, 0 = no expiry) to be included in the inactive NAC devices expiry calculation (mac age-out + inactive-time + periodic scan interval).
link_down_flush

Clear NAC devices on switch ports on link down event.
