junipernetworks.junos.junos_banner module – Manage multiline banners on Juniper JUNOS devices
Note
This module is part of the junipernetworks.junos collection (version 9.1.0).
You might already have this collection installed if you are using the ansible
package.
It is not included in ansible-core
.
To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list
.
To install it, use: ansible-galaxy collection install junipernetworks.junos
.
You need further requirements to be able to use this module,
see Requirements for details.
To use it in a playbook, specify: junipernetworks.junos.junos_banner
.

Synopsis
This will configure both login and motd banners on network devices. It allows playbooks to add or remote banner text from the active running configuration.
Requirements
The below requirements are needed on the host that executes this module.

Specifies whether or not the configuration is present in the current devices active running configuration. Choices:

The banner text that should be present in the remote device running configuration. This argument accepts a multiline string, with no empty lines. Requires state=present. |
Notes
Note
This module requires the netconf system service be enabled on the remote device being managed.
Tested against vSRX JUNOS version 15.1X49-D15.4, vqfx-10000 JUNOS Version 15.1X53-D60.4.
